Resolution Training provides bespoke security and physical intervention training courses, as well as conflict resolution/management training, throughout the UK. We deliver training courses at your workplace saving your organisation both time and money. Our security and conflict resolution course trainers have a minimum of a Level 4 teaching qualification and are highly experienced practitioners. Our aim is to provide a high quality, enjoyable training experience pitched at an appropriate level to our delegates. Our fees for training in the England, Scotland and Wales are all inclusive and certificates are available at no extra cost on request. We also offer a consultancy service so as to advise on policies and procedures with regard to security and conflict in the workplace.

Safe holding/Restraint training
Our one day Initial and one day refresher Safe Holding/Positive Handling training is designed to ensure that your staff only use force when necessary and when force is necessary no more force than necessary should be used.
Personal Safety/Self Defence
Our half or one day Personal Safety/Breakaway/Self Defence training is designed to give your staff the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves when faced with a potentially violent situation.
Lone Worker training
Our Lone Worker training is designed to give your staff the knowledge and confidence to be situationally aware of their surroundings when working alone.
De-escalation and Conflict Management training
Our half day de-escalation and conflict management training is designed to give your staff the knowledge and confidence to reduce the risk of harm to themselves when faced with a potentially violent situation.
Incident Command training
Our three day Incident Command/Command of Serious Incident training is designed to give delegates the confidence, understanding and ability to perform the role of Silver Commander during a major incident.
Bronze Commander training
This course has proved invaluable to many organisations dealing with any major incidents. The Bronze Commander training is a one day course aimed at incident responders, first line managers and middle managers.
Negotiator (Hostage) training
We offer a three day initial and two day refresher hostage/crisis negotiator training. Both courses cover the roles of the negotiator team and negotiation strategy and tactics.
Conditioning & Manipulation training
This three hour course demonstrates to delegates how prisoners condition staff, how staff condition staff and how we condition ourselves.
Rub down searching & Metal detector training
This course explains the procedures of how to effectively carry out a level A and Level B rub down search on both male and female persons including the use of a metal detector.
Defensible Decision Making
Our half day Defensible Decision Making training is designed to give your managers and organisation the confidence to make decisions that are defensible if challenged.
Log keeper training
This half day course ensures that the Command suite log keeper, Silver log keeper and board markers understand the importance and legalities of maintaining accurate contemporaneous logs.
Inquest awareness
Inquest awareness is a half day course which enables delegates to understand the purpose of the Coroner’s inquest, how the proceedings are conducted and the verdicts that can be recorded.
First on the scene training
First On the Scene training is designed to be delivered to all staff working within the secure environment. The course explains the procedures to be taken upon discovering a hostage situation and what to do if taken hostage.
Gap year travel safety
Travelling in a foreign country is always exciting but it can be daunting. In an increasingly dangerous world this course is designed to give young people the knowledge and skills to recognise, avoid and deal with risks and dangers they may face when travelling on their own or as part of a group.
Business travel safety course
An essential course for companies who have a duty of care to staff travelling aboard. This course is designed to assist both those who frequently or infrequently travel aboard on business.
